„Hygge“ is a Norwegian (or Danish, as the Danes claim) word that means cosiness, creating a warm atmosphere and enjoying the good things in life in the company of friends and family. „Hygge“ is also the feeling that you will experience in our chalet. Whether you spend your evening in front of the fireplace after a long day on the slopes or gather your friends for a barbecue on the terrace overlooking the Rhone valley, you can look forward to a relaxing and cosy holiday at Chalet Hygge.

Located in the middle of the 4 Vallées region and only minutes away from the ski lifts, our chalet is the perfect place for your skiing holiday. In summer, there are plenty of beautiful hiking and bike trails, and the local vineyards that produce excellent wines are waiting to be discovered.

A homey living room with a fireplace and access to a balcony overlooking the valley; a dining room with a wooden table seating up to 12 people; a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, espresso and ice machines and direct access to a large terrace with barbecue where you can enjoy warm summer evenings; a relaxing area with board games and books - Chalet Hygge has everything you need for an enjoyable holiday!
Sleeping
Each of our four cosy bedrooms is equipped with a large wardrobe or chest of drawers and beds with quality mattresses to guarantee a good night’s sleep. In addition, the sofa in the relaxing area on the upper floor can be folded out to a comfortable double bed.
Comfort
Our chalet has two bathrooms - one on the main floor and one on the lower floor. Each bathroom has a shower, WC and basin for your comfort. On the lower floor you will find a large service room with a washing machine and a tumble dryer, a large freezer as well as a ski boot dryer for ten pairs of boots.
Location
La Tzoumaz is a settlement overlooking the Rhone valley to where the local farmers still bring their animals in the summer for grazing. The closest airports are Sion (27km; seasonal flights from London, Zurich and St. Tropez) and Geneva (150km), from where there are direct trains to Martigny. From there, a taxi will take you to La Tzoumaz in 30 minutes. We can also organise transfers from Geneva, Sion or Martigny for an additional fee. If you come by car, you will find three parking places right in front of the chalet.
The ski bus (free of charge) stops right next to the chalet and will take you to the ski lifts within minutes.
